Most of us are overwhelmed by the amount of information continually available to us. But what really matters in reaching our objectives?
A TKA client wanted to determine, and counter, any and all factors that are significantly impacting their business. TKA used our Strategic Risk Matrix (excerpt below) to identify drivers in the business environment that significantly impact their business and its value. We assessed the level of potential impacts—both threats and opportunities.
Then we developed vectors or trends for each key value driver, in order to forecast where their business is headed. This enables them to move more effectively to offset, or adapt to, each significant trend.
Finally, each value vector became the basis of an ongoing tracking and reporting initiative called Strategic Risk Intelligence™. The Risk Matrix is adjusted quarterly to reflect changing business conditions.
