About TKA

The Knowledge Agency® (TKA) is a highly-regarded financial and economic research, consulting, and training provider. Using advanced analytic methodologies, we help our clients identify and manage opportunities for, and threats to, enterprise competitiveness and value creation.

TKA began operations in 1989 as Horizon Softworks.  Our earliest assignments were in building customized database applications to support the business development process for a global consulting firm.

We incorporated as InfoStrat in New York State in 1996.  The theme of 'information in support of strategy' is still a keystone of our mission.
 

Now

Today TKA is a wholly-owned operating subsidiary of T.W. Powell Company Inc.  (TWPCo), a privately-held successor New York corporation.  In addition to TKA, other properties of TWPCo include:
  • a diversified intellectual property portfolio that includes trademarks, copyrights, proprietary research frameworks and processes, and IP addresses related to our business
  • a private-label business media publishing imprint (Eyes and Ears)
  • a media production studio that produces TKA training and promotional materials
  • a private business library specializing in strategy, business and military intelligence, marketing, knowledge management, and innovation
